Continuous line of cars parking on Churchend, Slimbridge, from the village hall to Lancelot Court entrance (on the left hand side of the road as you come into Slimbridge). This is causing some road rage as rendering the road single track. Cars are refusing to reverse and mounting pedestrian pavements. This is an accident waiting happen. It is also very difficult to safely enter and exit driveways for local residents., 10 Ebrill

Frequently cars and vans are parked solidly from the Village Hall down Churchend past the Post Office, towards the Wildfowl Trust, sometimes as far as Cherry Tree Cottage, on that side of the road This funnels traffic onto the other side of the road, including on the bend just after the Church with limited visibility. Recently trade and construction and other vehicles associated with construction sites in the area have added to the problem. Cars have been mounting the pavements outside Everglebe to pass the oncoming vehicles, especially during the busy Easter Holiday period for tourists and the huge number of WWT visitors. It is difficult to enter and exit driveways in the area safely.

This Cattle Grid will need to be cleared before Marking Day (on the 13th of May) to prevent cattle on Minchinhampton Common straying again. Otherwise I fear the Commoners will take direct action again by (illegally) erecting a gate across the Cattle Grid - as happened last year.
