Broken drain, this drain is making my house damp and I have been complaining about this issue for at least 2 years. As the floor level of the house is slightly than the road water enters the house. The frontage to the house is wet continously due to this broken drain, the road is deformed and the tarmac is breaking up. I have instaled land drains on my property which remove some of this water but are not capable to take all of the water from the broken drain. The house has shallow foundations as it is old and built on clay soil and this wetting and drying of the foundations will lead to damage. It is not my responsibility to be removing water from your broken drain via land drains on my property. These land drains are small and will not cope with a major storm
