Nailsworth, Gloucestershire County Council

The road was flooded in December due o a blocked drain adjacent to the stream. There was a plan we were told that the culvert and drain needed to be dug or cleared out. To date I am not aware of any work to fix this. The drain is now flooding the road again.

The two drains outside th entrance to St Georges Church overflow every time there is heavy rain. The water then runs down the Church path and into the porch. I have to put sand bags on the path to divert the flow.. As I have reported before the problem is not that the drain is blocked BUT THAT the outflow into the main drain and ditch alongside the drive infront of Brook House is the problem.
