Yew Tree Road is a very small, narrow cul-de-sac and is not suitable for turning. The sign at the beginning of the road is not big enough or visible enough. I have often asked drivers who get into difficulty while trying to turn their vehicles around if they saw the sign - most say they didn't. Today a Tesco delivery driver tried to turn his van around and ploughed into my wall, damaging my property. I have reported this to Tesco but feel that we need a sign at the end of the road indicating its unsuitability for turning.

  • The traffic engineering team have reviewed this request and advise that they will not be looking to install any additional signage at this location. There are already 2 fully visible signs at the entrance to the road.
