Inconsiderate Parking

The people who own the garage opposite our house do not live on our road, their garden backs on to it. They gave less that 24 hours notice the car port was going to be built, this has resulted in them parking two cars. One in their car port and one on our street (a private road, they do not own the land) They now only use one car, but refuse to park the other outside of their own home on a different road.

We/Neighbours have left polite notes on their car and also spoken to them in person asking if they can move their car up to cover their car port so it creates an extra space on our road for everyone and their families to use. They have refused and now purposely park across the wall (as shown) to prevent another car from using the space. People on our road are reluctant to use the space when this happens because of a neighbours garage, and we are respectful of not blocking them. We are part of a great street community, young and old and we look after each other and we are part of a street group trying to come together and help our road.

They are being unneighbourly and being deliberately obstructive, and effectively land grabbing.

I know there will be probably nothing we can do, but if there is anything we can look into, that would be great.
