Road surface failed

Multiple potholes across whole road surface. Very difficult to navigate a safe line. Reported on FixMyStreet by others in Jan 26, March 26, and on 9th April under ref 9266180. If you feel this does not warrant a repair please have the inspector ride a road bike at 20mph + across this section. I have a broken wheel due to this long standing defect. It’s dangerous and you have knowledge of it so kindly sort it out.

  • It's high time that this dangerous stretch of road was fixed properly. It's been bad for months and recently a half hearted attempt was made to address the issue. But It's no use just filling in the odd dip here and there as it has left the surface just as bumpy as it was before. The whole stretch of road needs to be resurfaced from one side of the road to another. This is dangerous for cyclists and bad for drivers.

  • Judging by the repairs I've seen recently, Oxfordshire will just paint over the problem and claim it's fixed, so what's the point in complaining anyway?
