15 inch pothole on road into whytham from A34 near OX2 8QA

There are two potholes just after a speed bump, next to the driveway entrance of Yew Tree Cottage in Whytham. The pothole on the left hand side is very deep and unavoidable (due to parked cars taking up one side of this road. I drove very slowly over the speed bump last evening, not seeing the pothole on the other side, to hear a loud bang as my left hand front wheel hit the hole. My car dash immediately presented a warning sign to check my break pads (newly fitted last year) and a warning sign remains on my dashboard. This pothole is a risk as it cannot be seen or avoided. The speed bump increases the impact on the car wheels when coming into contact with the pothole and driving over it even at 3 miles an hour is highly likely to damage a car, as it has done with mine.
