Look like dead tree covered in ivy has blown partly across pavement.

We was walking down Cumnor hill Saturday, and had to walk into the road.very dangerous especially for some one in wheelchair or mother with pram or pushchair. The trouble is it next 124 Cumnor hill ,It mite be common land.

Just to endorse the above post. I witnessed a young mother with a pushchair having to go out into the road to avoid this overhanging foliage. It is nearest to property no 124 Cumnor Hill, however, it is outside the boundary of this property and therefore not their responsibility. The tree/shrub covered in ivy is located in the verge, which presumably is the responsibility of the council. It needs rectifying urgently, before someone is injured by a vehicle travelling down Cumnor Hill, when stepping out into the road to avoid the overhang. I cannot walk under this overhanging foliage, and I am 5 ft 7 in tall, without striking my head on it.

This afternoon an Oxford-bound bus struck this overhanging tree with its near-side mirror, which broke off and shattered the glass in the door of the bus as it fell. The bus had to be taken out of service, causing unnecessary expense to the bus company as well as inconvenience to the passengers.
