I, like many people in the village are very concerned about the increasing deterioration of the road by the crossing. You can see from the photos, particularly if you enlarge certain areas, that some of the potholes are beginning to join up! If you are coming into the village over the crossing, it’s very difficult to negotiate around the potholes, particularly if there is traffic coming from the village on the other side. It’s an “accident waiting to happen”. If traffic moves too slowly, there could be a strong possibility of vehicles becoming “stuck” on the crossing when the barriers come down.
