Thanks to HS2 works repeatedly closing the main road, we have been experiencing much higher volumes of traffic on the road through our village, including heavy goods vehicles. As a result, Mere Road now has significantly large potholes which are doing damage to our cars. This is a serious hazard when so close to a primary school, as drivers are attempting to dodge the potholes, where young children are walking to school. It is becoming a more dangerous situation every day they are left.
