The whole corner as you enter Howes Lane for Bucknell road is deteriorating with various potholes and subsidence which is getting very dangerous as people have to swerve across the carriageway to try and avoid the failed road surface.

  • Just had a near miss, car swerved into my lane to avoid pothole in road going away from the bucknell road. That pothole looks to be very deep

  • Pothole is now getting worse - no way to avoid it when turning into Howes Lane from Bucknell Road

  • This whole corner is becoming a death trap. There are more potholes opening up along side the subsidence. A cyclist or motorcyclist could very easily get seriously injured at this busy junction. It is getting impossible to not hit at least one of the potholes when entering Howes Lane from Bucknell Road. THIS NEEDS SORTING QUICKLY!

  • This is now extremely dangerous. It's been bad for quite some time, but this week it is unavoidable and dangerous. I had to weave all over the road to cycle through on Monday (not safe with cars behind), and today driving I went through a deep pothole despite trying to weave around them all. Had I been cycling and hit that hole I would have come off my bike, and probably been run over by a car behind me.

  • This has already been reported and nothing done yet as of today! This area is dangerous! Cars are swerving to avoid numerous potholes on this bend and it an accident waiting to happen. Sort this out please!

  • Still not fixed and really dangerous as people swerve to try to miss it on an already difficult junction.

  • Why has this still not been fixed? Instead of the council putting garbage on Facebook they’ve fixed potholes within 2hrs… and fix the craters that have been reported four weeks ago.
