2 blocked drains one outside house front door (also broken), one at end of drive

The Drain outside the front gate of 5 horcott road GL7 4DD is full of mud and has been blocked since Oct 2025. It is also broken following your team unblocking it on a previous occasion (2024) and was left without repairing the grid . There are 3 houses on this stretch of the road and we are all below road level causing problems when rain water stays on the road surface.
A second drain at the end of the drive of 5 Horcott Road is also full of mud and has been blocked since Oct 2025.
This is an annual problem and we never seem to be included on annual drain clearing and I have to contact you each time to request cleaning. In 2025 the drains/road on the opposite side appeared to be cleared and yet the truck never appeared to clear our side of the road.
There have also been 2 cones and a sandbag over the drain outside our gate for nearly 2 months (further blocking the drain) - the cones were removed today yet the sandbag has been left, the drain is still broken and full of mud.
Can I please request that both the drain in front of the front gate of no 5 Horcott and at the end of the drive are both cleared.
Can we please also request annual clearing of the drains in our road as I repeatedly have to email you in frequent years requesting this
Thanks
Ellie Sadler

Thank you for reporting a drainage or flooding issue.
We will investigate the issue. If additional clearance work is needed, the local highways team will prioritise the most urgent reports. Where possible, maintenance tasks will be grouped together in a schedule for efficiency.
Sometimes during periods of heavy rain, even a clear gully can be overwhelmed. Usually the water will drain away within an hour.
Every gully or drain the county council is responsible for is cleared at least once each year. Some drains in problem areas are cleared more frequently. You can find out more, including the gully emptying schedule on our website by visiting www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/highways/roads/road-maintenance
If your property is at risk of flooding please see the Flood Guide for advice and support by visiting www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/planning-and-environment/flood-risk-management/flooding-information/flood-guide
If you are driving: please never ignore road closures or enter flood water. This could put you or others in danger and invalidate your insurance.
We will provide updates about this report. Thank you again for taking the time to report this issue.
