The sides of the road have degraded and have numerous potholes

These potholes have been in place for some months. The road is also the only pedestrian route (we have no footpath) from the Activ8 bus on the A342 into the village and therefore, apart from damaging car wheels for which numerous reports have been made, they make the route even more hazardous for walking than it already is.

  • Our village road, the C77, has degraded with numerous potholes in a number of places and this report is one of them. In addition, we now have deeply degraded sides of the roads following the wet weather which makes pedestrian access hazarous at times - our roads are also our footpaths.
