Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 59 days.

The potholes continue to develop , and are increasingly dangerous for cyclists, particularly those travelling for the Newport Road towards Quinton as they descend downhill into the heavily shaded area of the bridge which means the holes are barely visible until you on top of them. The pot holes are now on both the approach side and the opposite side to the bridge. I do not believe that it is safe to leave these unattended to.
