This drain has been blocked for months, if not years, but is now completely blocked right up to the top, with weeds growing out of it. During heavy rain, the water coming down from the motorway bridge cannot go down the drain, so it pours down my drive, with the potential to flood my house.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the flooding has been assessed and requires a Priority 4 response. We will schedule drainage investigation work to be completed within 26 weeks. When the investigation has been completed, we will inform you of our findings and course of action. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 is 59 days.
