Road flooded in heavy rain

In the dip in the road, between the Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire County signs fairy deep water was right across both sides of the road during heavy rain this morning. It’s not normally like this, so I think the pipe/drain must be blocked.

The water was right across both sides the road in the heavy rain last night. Very dangerous suddenly meeting standing deep water on a fast road in the dark, - luckily I was half expecting it as I’ve noticed nothing has been done as there is often a small puddle both sides even after very light rain.
