Overhanging trees in neighbouring gardens and broken fence along footpath

Adroddwyd drwy desktop yn y categori Obstruction caused by tree yn ddienw am 09:22, Iau 14 Awst 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Anfon at Gloucestershire County Council llai na munud yn hwyrach. Cyfeirnod FixMyStreet: 8023538.

From Pirton Lane to Andorra Way. The vegetation from the verge along the A40 is now encroaching along the whole pathway and overhanging onto gardens. There are trees that have grown into neighbouring fences and need to be removed before the fences are damaged. The trees have never been cut back and if you walk along during the winter you get soaked from the overhanging branches. The concrete post and wire fence is broken at Keriston Avenue allowing pedestrians to walk through the long grass verge and not stick to the footpath making the avenue treacherous in the winter, with mud and dog faeces being trodden along the Avenue. Not a healthy route for school children to take and as the dark nights draw in, the lights along the footpath cannot be seen due to the overhanging branches making the footpath dangerous and difficult to see.
