I walked down Ladybellegate St around 11:30 today with my children. At the junction with Commercial Rd, there were roadworks taking place in which tactile paving was being installed. A sign directed us to walk between some cones, but when we did, our shoes were covered in a strong smelling chemical substance. The smell is so strong that I have had to leave our shoes in the back garden instead of bring them into the house.
