Overgrown Hedgerows and Weeds

Over the years, brambles have grown out from the original hedgerows towards the path. Weeds are growing over the footpath, therefore reducing the width of it. There was a grass verge outside 38 London Road and this is ever shrinking. At the current rate it is anticipated that the grass area will completely disappear. The area is now getting so neglected garden waste is being dumped in the hedgerow rather than green bin collections being paid for.

Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 52 days.
