I’m sorry I don’t have any photos, but several times while I have been waiting to exit the Mendip Heights roundabout, the lorries swing round from the ring road- sometimes quite fast- and stones fall off the back. Either they are not securing their loads properly, overfilling the lorries or there are loose stones on the truck which just fall off as they go round. If a sweeper truck goes to the roundabout they will be able to confirm how much loose material is on the Mendip Heights exit. It is easy to wheel spin when pulling away as there is no grip.

    I witnessed a car trying to pull away but wheel spinning. A stone flicked up very close to me on the pavement. Cars will struggle to stop and risk skidding. This is an accident waiting to happen.
