Complaint Regarding New Mobile Phone Mast Installation

I am writing to formally raise a concern regarding the recently installed mobile phone mast at the junction of Lavender Hill and The Ridgeway, which was erected this past Saturday.

The new mast has been positioned directly on the pavement, contrasting with the previous mast that was sensibly located on the grass between the bus shelter and the new houses. This change has significantly reduced the width of the pavement and will be dangerously when people are walking to the nearby schools, hospital, and bus stop.

Furthermore, the mast presents a potential hazard for partially sighted pedestrians as it protrudes conspicuously and is painted green, making it less noticeable against the surroundings. The additional support boxes installed alongside the mast also obstruct the view of oncoming traffic at the Lavender Hill/The Ridgeway roundabout, raising serious safety concerns for both pedestrians and drivers.
