I wish to bring to your immediate attention a large pothole with raised ironworks that poses a significant safety risk. While the road in question may not yet be adopted by the council, it serves as an access route to a council-owned property, making this a matter of public concern.

This defect has been present for several years and is deteriorating progressively, increasing the risk to both pedestrians and vehicles. The pothole presents a serious trip hazard and has the potential to cause damage to vehicles, leading to potential liability issues. If the road has not yet been adopted by the council, I would be grateful if the council could take steps to enforce the developer’s responsibility to rectify the issue and ensure the road is brought up to an acceptable standard.
