Tree debris and branches falling on car

Each year these two trees produce a large amount of leaf litter and seed that fall onto my property. This gets into the garage guttering and my cars fillters. Also on windy days branches are falling onto my car and property.

Thank you for your report. I have visited site and assessed the trees in their location. The trees present are on land not deemed to be part of the publicly maintained highway by OCC in our capacity as local highway authority. The trees present are on land maintainable by an adjacent landowner and not by the County Council. You can access the land registry at: https://www.gov.uk/ search-property-information-land-registry to find details of the adjacent landowner to pursue your enquiry. You are also within your common law rights as a landowner to cut any overhanging vegetation back to the boundary line of your property.
