Horrendous pot hole around the drain, very deep, caused damage to my tyre. Covered by water so you can’t even see how bad it is. Needs sorting urgently before it damages more vehicles it causes an accident

So they close all the old reports with people complaining about this for weeks when the status is still investigating and there is still a very bad pothole which will cause and accident Sort it out!

This pothole was hidden by water, I hit it at 6.50pm tonight. There was a big bang as I hit it. It pulled my steering over to the left, luckily I was going slow enough to handle my car.

Profoundly dangerous as it's deep with sharp edges, unavoidable - and it's a fast road - many drivers are now swerving into oncoming traffic to avoid. No lighting here means very dangerous at night. We fear driving this route, because of it and another near by, but have to to get to the station for work.

Picture provided by councillor Ian Snowdon, he took the picture on Monday and said it was on a 24 hour fixture list. Yet I hit it 48 hours later

Shortly before 5pm today my front left tyre burst driving over this pothole. It was filled with rainwater so not visible and also impossible to avoid due to oncoming traffic. Had to call breakdown service and need my tyre replaced tomorrow and even the alloy wheel as it caused damage to this too. Will claim to council, since this pothole was reported. Also dangerous and could cause an accident or more damage.
