Enormous pothole around drain filled with water.

This pothole reoccurs regularly and has been getting worse, especially in the last couple of weeks. It is now extremely deep & even at neglible speed will cause substantial damage to vehicles. The pothole is forcing traffic onto the other side of the road or bringing it to a standstill. It needs a durable repair not a quick fix.

Profoundly dangerous as it's deep with sharp edges, unavoidable - and it's a fast road - many drivers are now swerving into oncoming traffic to avoid. No lighting here means very dangerous at night. We fear driving this route, because of it and another near by, but have to to get to the station for work.

You have sent me an email claiming you have large volumes of enquiries & require a photo of this pothole. You are asking me to stop on a dangerous stretch of road to save you doing a drive past which would instantly show the extent of the road damage which your records will show reoccurs regularly. There are large volumes of reports because of the increasingly shocking state of oxfordshire roads & apparent reluctance of Oxford Highways to spend money to repair until they are potentially fatal.

You have sent an email request asking for a photo to validate this pothole. It is dangerous / impossible to take photos as this is a one lane busy road with no place to pull up and no pavements.
