Severe Water flooding when a lot of rain. When cold turns to a sheet of ice. This is the school run and a very busy road cutting through south Moreton into Wallingford/ reading etc

    Still relevant blocked drains banks have been washed away also years gone past farmer made a gully to the ditch that runs south between the two fields farmer is ploughing field different and not using drainage ditch to help relieve problem but main problem is blockage of drains by soil erasion of bank because of flooding you can see soil just below drains hundred percent blocked

  • Thank you for your report, we have recently inspected the location and found no surface water present, the gullies are on a cyclical maintenance cleaning schedule and will be cleared when the gully wagon attends site.
