Huge increase and constant problems with dog fouling

The problems associated with persistant dog fouling have increased exponentially during the last two years. This is particularly prevalent along the odd numbered side of the street on Vicarage Road and the even numbered side of the street on Willis Road. Which appears consistent with dogs being walked around the block.

This is not just the occasional pile of dog mess or merely a visual or aesthetic issue. Indeed, it has quite literally built up over the last couple of years into piles of excrement along the pavements. Rapidly turning into a health hazard for the groups of young children regulary playing on these pavements. As well as adults avoiding the minefields of dog mess. Which are especially a problem at night and along the particular pavements mentioned above.

These streets do not appear to be being cleaned at all. And merely putting signage/stickers on lamposts is not addressing the problem. Do one or more of our children/grandchildren have to become seriously ill as a result of this increasing problem before something is actually done about it?
