Zebra crossing needed

There is a large number of students who need access to Victoria Park school that have nowhere to cross from Sidmouth, Weymouth, and Marksbury Rd across to the other side of Wedmore Vale (in order to access the traffic crossing in front of the health centre to get to school). There is also frequent speeding over the 20mph limit by cars on Wedmore Vale. Sometimes, one car will stop in one direction to allow pedestrians/children to pass but the traffic in the other direction will not yield. We are also losing funding for our crossing patrol that helps for a limited time in the mornings. There is an inactive school patrol sign further towards the school.

There is also frequent speeding over the 20mph limit by DRIVERS on Wedmore Vale. Sometimes, one DRIVER will stop in one direction to allow pedestrians/children to pass but the DRIVERS in the other direction will not yield.
