Several potholes and splits in centre of carriageway A555,

Adroddwyd drwy mobile yn y categori Potholes yn ddienw am 19:36, Mer 15 Ionawr 2025

Anfon at Stockport Borough Council llai na munud yn hwyrach. Cyfeirnod FixMyStreet: 6986210.

Potholes are in centre of carriageway in westbound lane approx 50 meters from A6 buxton road road traffic lights awkward to avoid severe to connect with it when travelling up to 50mph. It is also not very visible! Please repair on urgent basis.

  • There are several potholes in a line, on the inside lane of the A555 about 100yds plus from the A6 junction travelling towards Manchester Airport which are hard to avoid. This occurred last night Friday 30th January 2026. We were travelling at 50 mph. Luckily there is no damage to my car wheels but the situation is dangerous and will only get worse without repairs being carried out.
