Near bus stop next to locksbrook cemetery entance on upper bristol road.

When any vehicle passes over the manhole cover it visibly sinks by a guess 75 cm which if a motor cyclist hit it, it could possibly throw them off let alone damage to tyres/wheels. Needs urgent inspection. I have seen it deteriate quickly over the last week.

I think the original reference should be 75mm (not 75cm!), but otherwise I would agree that this is an accident waiting to happen. I walked past this morning (14th Dec) and noise from each passing vehicle was VERY loud and the dip in the cover very noticeable. Just a few more heavy buses or lorries and I think this will collapse entirely.

As the original report says, the situation is deteriorating quickly. Not only I am concerned that this is an accident waiting to happen, but it makes an incredibly loud noise (we live in one of the properties right next to it and it is waking us up at night).

The man hole cover has been sorted but the cones and fencing used during the works have been left in front of the Locksbrook cemetery making it difficult to use our parking spaces. This is an eyesore, please remove it.
