Consistent standing water on road

Consistent standing water on road on a 40-50mph is dangerous. Road side ditch needs to be cleared or something to let this water escape. I frequently see people aqua planning here and twice I have nearly been hit on the opposite side of the road. This stretch of road has several issues - it needs to be addressed!!!

I travel along the road between the A 34 and bletchingdon most days. The road is very dangerous as there are numerous pot holes and the road is disappearing at the edges. There have been workmen by the heathfield turning for three weeks now and they seem to have just filled 1 pot holes!!! Leaving at least 2 in the middle of the road in the area they had sectioned off. People are always damaging tires because water sits in them and you don’t know where they are. The only way to avoid them is to drive in the middle is of the road which as you know is very dangerous!!! Please pleas please can someone come and have a proper look at the whole road and assess it . It is only a matter of time before there is a big accident. Thankyou Nicola welfod

I can confirm that the pothole is still here. I was driving more to the middle of the road to avoid the pothole on the road side when i hit this one, thought i would get another broken wheel - the bang was that loud.

Numerous potholes near to the entrance of Heathfield Village, near to the recently repair stretch of road. Cars swerving holes in an attempt to avoid damage to tyres. Many thanks indeed.
