Due to the drains in the road being blocked the water had nowhere to go so flooded the roads and subsequently peoples property. The problem was also made worse by no clearing of the stream so that backed up and flooded the rear of the properties. There has been no drain or stream maintenance work carried out for many years so the debris builds up and the water has nowhere to go!
