Signage from roadworks still there 2 weeks after finish

A number of signs on Old Bath Road between Charlton Lane and East Glos tennis. The roadworks finished on 18 November so the signs are way out of date and are a distraction to road users who will inevitably read them as they say "road closed" or "no parking". Why does it take so long to remove out of date signs?
