Flooded road and other exit closed by network rail

As usual the road up to the A41 junction from Piddington is s flooded and will be for the next three months on and off as nobody maintains the ditches or river. Those of us in OX25 1QG are stuffed because Cherwell have given Network Rail permission to close the railway bridge on the road into the village for two months! They tell me they will be digging the whole road up on Wednesday. We have no exit!! The timing is ridiculous! My wife is a special needs teacher and does a 12 hour day from 7-7. She won't be able to get to work!!
