Standing water has finally drained away revealing dangerously exposed sharp metal corner due to erosion and continued subsidence around the drain cover. This could easily cause a significant direct injury to pedestrians or cyclists.

Not Fixed. The puddle remains (even after more than a day without rain) and the splashes from frequent traffic are now building up layer by layer of invisible but very slippery ice on the adjoining drive. The polite and friendly staff who attended yesterday were ill equipped for the task and unable to lift the drain cover. The cover needs lifting, the sump emptying and the drain clearing all the way to the river. The severely potholed and subsiding road also requires urgent attention.
