Dangerous road markings

As you travel northbound on A4421 and if a vehicle is turning left into Stratton Audley Road, the road markings allow for overtaking by using the southbound traffic turn right lane. This is hugely dangerous as northbound traffic don’t have appropriate visibility to see if any southbound traffic is turning into the central lane to turn into Stratton Audley road. It’s a head on collision waiting to happen! Furthermore there is not enough space in the central lane for southbound traffic to turn right into Stratton Audley road to house a vehicle in all 3 lanes when large vehicles are travelling north and southbound. This needs to be addressed urgently!!

Areas of white diagonal stripes or chevrons painted on the road, These are to separate traffic lanes or to protect traffic turning right.
• If the area is bordered by a broken white line, you should not enter the area unless it is necessary and you can see that it is safe to do so.
• If the area is marked with chevrons and bordered by solid white lines you MUST NOT enter it except in an emergency.
