Other damage to pavement i.e. cobbles, raised mound/surface problem

Adroddwyd yn y categori Other damage to pavement i.e. cobbles, raised mound/surface am Gloucestershire County Council

Cyfeirnod FixMyStreet: 6654159.

Email received 21/10/2024 - copy attached: To whom this may concern, I am writing to formally notify you of my injury I sustained as a result of negligence on your part. On Monday 7th October 2024 at 9am I fell and broke my ankle while walking on market place which I believe is due to the poor condition of the pavement and lack of appropriate definition between the road and pavement. I had to take this route due to the funfair obstruction on the pavement. As I work locally I have observed that there has been numerous accidents where people have also fallen like myself with uneven surfaces and other hazards that pose a significant risk to pedestrians. My injury has not only caused me significant physical pain but has also resulted in multiple hospital appointments, loss of income, and other related costs. I believe that the council has a duty to maintain safe public walkways. Thank you for your attention to this issue. I look forward to your response.
