PROW from Sation Road to Cordingley Close

This PROW is marked as a "safer route to school" from the GLOS Highways Team from approx 1999. When Safer Routes to School had a team partnership with the Parish Councl. The PROW is overgrown with weeds/nettles and now has such big potholes at its entrance (StationRoad) that children can not enter without going through a puddle with covers their shoes and socks. Please assess the route in general especially this entrance. More pot holes occur further down the PROW.

This report has now been passed to the Highways team for assessment.
If repair work is required, it will either be classed as urgent or will be put into a planned programme of works to ensure it is repaired as efficiently as possible.
In some cases a temporary repair will be needed, to make the area safe, then engineers will return to make a permanent repair.
An update on the issue will be provided.
