Deteriorating patch repair caused damage to car.

On taking my car for Service/MOT at Allon White's in Cranfield on Saturday 14th October I drove over this area of deteriorating pothole repair and it caused a significant impact on the wheel and pushed the steering to the centre of the road. Fortunately there was no other oncoming vehicle. This was not at excessive speed and well within the speed limit for that road.
Having only just picked the car up I've only now been able to take photos. It appears that part of the repair has sunk and whilst there is no hole it has created a very steep incline over short distance which I suspect was the cause of the impact. The rest of the repair is also in a poor state.
There was sufficient force to damage the lower arm of the car requiring repairs at the garage which I was already on the way to and so this could happen to other vehicles.

Nothing has changed. Dammaged my left tire. Had to buy a new one. Luckily no car coming from front. Also wasn't speeding as the road doesn't allow you to go fast.

Might be worth trying to claim given this (report) evidences that they’ve been notified of it and done nothing about it.
