There are two locked gates along the restricted byway. Going from east to west (starting where the byway meets the A4173), the first gate is locked, but has a small gap that a pedestrian could fit through (but not e.g. bike or horse). The second gate (at the end of the first field) was locked, with no access for pedestrians without climbing the gate.

The map doesn't allow me to place the marker on the Restricted Byway, so I've placed it on the footpath at the western end of the Byway. Going east to west, the first locked gate is where the Byway meets the A4173. The second locked gate is at the field boundary roughly in the middle of the Byway.
