There is a very deep hole in the kerb on Wick Road, near the library

A loose stone/slab has come off of the pavement kerb, creating a massive hole which is a risk for pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles. We have moved the stone out of the road and placed it nearby so that it doesn't cause any further obstructions. This section of pavement is between Wick Road Library and Highcroft Vets on Wick Road, and therefore has a lot of footfall and traffic.

This is extremely dangerous as it is filling with water during the heavy rain, thereby disguising a really deep hole. The roadworks are causing chaos leading people to step off pavements to dodge cars/try to cross the road between cars now that Wick road has become so busy. I am really concerned someone is going to be badly hurt. The vets creates lots of traffic and cars are being damaged by the depth of the hole. This needs to be fixed urgently to prevent damage to cars and worse, injury to people attending the vets or pedestrians. To make this safe, prevent further damage and accommodate the volume of business traffic this should be repaired and the curb dropped to make it a safe entrance.
