Errection of a new gate across public footpath - can not find planning permission for

Adroddwyd drwy desktop yn y categori Gate is damaged/missing/locked yn ddienw am 13:48, Maw 27 Awst 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Anfon at Gloucestershire County Council llai na munud yn hwyrach. Cyfeirnod FixMyStreet: 6403101.

Tunley path runs through the woods owned by The Old Chapel. The new gate is located at the far end of their woodland, before the path turns to go down hill to the road. The reason given for the gate is to keep in their 2 large dogs but none of the tumbled fencing has been replaced. The gate is not user friendly for the less able - I could not continue my journey and was forced to turn back - I have walked this path most days for 14 years. The owners now want to errect a vehicle gate at the begining of their property - this would be across a public highway and public footpath - denying historical vehicle access to the side gate of the next door listed property The Thatched House.
