I took the first photo of the probable travellers at 11:09 today 23 August 2024. At 12:50 when I took all the other photos of piles of wood chippings, tree debris, fly tipping, and rubbish the vehicles and caravans had gone!

26th August - still a great deal of rubbish left by van dwellers on Durdham Downs. Please arrange a clear up as soon as possible. Unsightly and unhealthy for dogs, children, wild animals and birds. There is also the smell of urine near the bushes. Longer term, there needs to be prevention of vehicles staying on Durdham Downs. We recently saw around 20 campers in this area, parked on the grass by the bushes.
