Grass never cut in 40 plus years

Grass never cut in 40 plus years 2x 72 year old men are doing it. Both are tired now and are struggling to do it. It's about time it's done by the council. I'm very tempted to rip the grass up and but cement over it at least it will make it easy to take care of . Please put this area on your grass cut roto

Oxfordshire County Council, as the Highway Authority, is ultimately responsible for the maintenance of grass verges alongside the carriageway network throughout Oxfordshire (excluding motorways and trunk roads). Under our new approach, all roadside verges in both rural and urban areas are cut once a year. If necessary, we will trim areas that impede driver visibility more regularly.
