Mysterious bramble clearance taken place inside nature reserve.

Extensive bramble clearance has taken inside Royate Hill Local Nature Reserve at the boundary with the green space at Wainbrook Drive. Clearance has taken place along a wide stretch and about 15ft into the reserve. Why has this taken place and by whom? This was destruction of habitat, especially for nesting birds. The Friends group was not made aware that this may be taking place. BCC Parks area Operational Coordinator also has no knowledge.
