As Chair of Farnborough Village Society I reported this issue on 15th July and the branch has still not been removed. See photo attached taken 1st August. I would be grateful if this issue can be dealt with at your earliest convenience. Thank you

Tree Officers manage risk. Our crews are attending other higher priority jobs across the Borough. We manage thousands of trees and this branch on the ground is not currently a risk. It will be removed in due course. Thank you for your patience.

As Chair of Farnborough Village Society, I originally reported this issue on 15th July and reported it again on 1st August, both times a photo was submitted as evidence. I am surprised to find today (20th August) that the branch still remians on the ground and would be grateful if someone could report back to me the reason why this issue has not been dealt with. Thank you

Our crews prioritise safety critical jobs. This branch was deliberately cut by an unknown party. A job has been issued to them at public expense. The Council would like to know who is responsible for damaging this public property. A branch on the ground is not a risk. As we have already explained, our contractors will remove the branch in due course. We do not have a time when this work will be done and we thank you for understanding how tree work is prioritised
