Difficult access

Due to the ongoing M8 roadworks for what's now been years, Scott Street coming down from W Graham Street is the only point of access to a fairly large commercial and residential area, including Chinatown, GSoA Stow Building, Dundas Business Centre, PDSA pet hospital and more. One side of the road is never available to use, as people are allowed to park their cars there, making it a single lane road for all drivers coming up and down the hill at the same time, which is almost always problematic when you make a turn onto Scott Street and another car is already on it, so one driver has to reverse up or down a steep hill. Then, when you're waiting to turn onto W Graham Street, you're lucky if someone hasn't parked on double yellows at the top of the hill. This being the only access road to the area is unacceptable - hundreds if not thousands of cars go there every day. We desperately need access Phoenix Rd to New City Road again!
