Renstall dog waste bin

Adroddwyd drwy desktop yn y categori Overflowing litter/dog bin yn ddienw am 08:52, Gwen 12 Gorffennaf 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Anfon at Bromley Council llai na munud yn hwyrach. Cyfeirnod FixMyStreet: 6220878.

There used to be a council dog waste bin here, how come it was removed? There is now just a constant stream of dog poo bags left on this spot from lazy dog walkers which is causing a health issue

  • This piece of land where the dog bin used to be is council land, not National Trust land. The council used to empty it and the council removed it. Since its removal people now dump dog poo bags where it used to be (on a council sign post on council land)

  • Thank you for your additional comments

We do not place litter bins within residential areas unless there was clear reason to, such as a shopping parade, school or a high use bus stop. Whilst we can understand there may be a high foot fall area with (dog) walkers, at this time there are no plans to install a litter bin within this vicinity. LBB will only install specific dog waste bins through our Parks Services provider, Idverde, within our parks and green spaces, not least because residents are able to use street litter bins to dispose of dog waste where they are available (we ask it’s double bagged preferably), the following link may help provide more detail: https://www.bromley.gov.uk/ parks-open-spaces/ responsible-dog-ownership. Where bins are not available it is up to everyone to act responsibly and make arrangements to either take their litter home or carry it until a litter bin is available.
