Damaged drain

Adroddwyd drwy desktop yn y categori Blocked Drain / Gully yn ddienw am 08:35, Dydd Llun 8 Gorffennaf 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Anfon at Oxfordshire County Council llai na munud yn hwyrach. Cyfeirnod FixMyStreet: 6202054.

This fault has been reported twice already but has been removed by FMS administrators as being frivolous which it is not. The darinage here has been damaged by Gigaclear trenchworks and groundwater now seeps through the road surface where the trench has not been sealed. In winter this causes severe icing which isa hazard for road users and pedestrians. As FMS insist this is not a Highways issue, although it has been actioned before, some years ago when Thames Water caused similar problems, it will now be escalated to higher authorities at OCC.

  • The drain or gulley outside the Barn Cottage is overflowing and needs to be cleared - can this be arranged soon. Rainwater keeps flooding and backing up the drain please can we arragne for the drain to be cleared or it might even require a bigger drain so leaves and debris don't clog up the system?
