Roadworks on key arterial route in Henley on the busiest day of the year in Henley (Regatta week) with traffic taking over an hour to cover a quarter of a mile on the Marlow Road as a result. Could someone please explain: 1) the reason for the roadworks 2) why it was necessary to initiate the roadworks on this particular day 3) who authorised the work 4) who was consulted in advance
